LOGISTICS

The conference is free and open to the public and no advance registration is required. All events are in-person only and seating is first come, first served. The conference venue is ADA accessible.

 

The conference events will take place at the following times and locations:

 

Friday November 1, 2 - 7pm

UC Berkeley Campus

The Gifford Room

221 Anthropology and Art Practice Building

(near the corner of Bancroft Way and College Avenue, on the southeast corner of campus)

 

After the formal conference events end for the day, speakers and audience are invited to continue the conversation at Freehouse, 2700 Bancroft Way (across from the conference venue). Due to limited funds, food and beverages at Free House will not be covered by the conference.

 

Saturday November 2, 9:30am - 6pm

We highly encourage taking public transportation to the conference venue, which is readily accessible through AC Transit (Lines 7, 36, 51, 52, 79, F) and BART (Downtown Berkeley and Rockridge are the closest stations).
